Stefano De Carli
Nato e cresciuto a Milano, Stefano De Carli, in arte Alfredo Rey, è un affermato chitarrista, direttore d'orchestra, arrangiatore, compositore e videomaker. Oltre ad avere realizzato i precedenti successi swing dell'orchestra, ’’Alta infedeltà’ e ‘’ Canzoni rubate’’ che hanno ottenuto successo in Italia e riconoscimenti internazionali, Stefano ha suonato nelle band UFO Piemontesi e Matisse, e come session man e arrangiatore con vari artisti quali Ligabue, Baccini, Finardi, Krisma, e altri. Nel 2022,ha prodotto la cover del singolo di Alfredo Rey and His Orchestra di "Like a Virgin", pubblicata come singolo e videoclip con la partecipazione dell'artista britannica inglese Little Violet.
Stefano ha prodotto e arrangiato i brani di ''Movietunes'' e realizzato i trailer e i videoclip che accompagnano la promozione dell'album.

Matteo Brancaleoni
Nato e cresciuto a Milano, Matteo Brancaleoni è noto a livello internazionale come "The Italian Crooner" ed è ampiamente riconosciuto come uno dei principali interpreti italiani del songbook americano.
Matteo ha una carriera di successo non solo come cantante e performer, ma anche come attore, compositore, produttore e giornalista.
Nel corso degli anni i suoi dischi sono stati pubblicati in Italia, Europa, Cina, Russia e Stati Uniti, paesi nei quali si è esibito in vari tour.
Matteo attualmente risiede a Torino.

Justine Mattera
Nata e cresciuta a New York, Justine si è trasferita in Italia dopo la laurea alla Stanford University. Attrice, cantante, modella e triatleta, è stata protagonista per anni di importanti programmi televisivi italiani e ha recitato anche nel film del 2007 "Go Go Tales" di Abel Ferrara. Nel 2021 ha pubblicato la sua autobiografia "Just Me” con Cairo Editore.
Justine appare come cantante nella cover di ‘’ I’m thru with love’’ e come protagonista del video tratto dal brano.

Alexandra Miletta
Nata e cresciuta a New York, di formazione classica, Alexandra è anche esperta di musical e jazz. Negli anni '80 è stata la cantante solista della band Matisse con Stefano De Carli, e la loro attuale collaborazione dura da oltre un decennio. Con Alfredo Rey and His Orchestra compare nel compilation francese ‘’Electro Swing Party’’ di Bart & Baker, Volume 3. È stata anche produttrice dei video musicali della cover di "Like a Virgin" di Little Violet e Alfredo Rey and His Orchestra nel 2022 e di "I'm Thru with Love" con Justine Mattera e Alfredo Rey and His Orchestra dal nuovo album “Movietunes.”

Bryan Simmons
Bryan Simmons è nato e cresciuto a Memphis,Tennessee, in una comunità ricca di blues, soul e gospel. Bryan ha trascorso i suoi primi anni studiando violino classico, viola, pianoforte e organo Hammond. In seguito, dopo anni di musica da camera e sinfonica e attraverso il canto corale, Bryan ha scoperto la sua passione per gli evergreen e gli standard jazz. Da allora ha continuato a cantare, esibendosi in recital, teatri e jazz club a Boston e Parigi e al Montreux Jazz Festival.

Since 2004, Alfredo Rey and His Orchestra has captivated Italian and international audiences with its sophisticated sound. Under the artistic direction of Stefano De Carli, the Alfredo Rey Orchestra has released the albums Alta Infedeltà and Canzoni Rubate, which have earned it collaborations with various television networks such as RAI 1, RAI 2, Canale 5, Italia 1, and MTV. Many of the tracks from these two acclaimed albums have appeared on successful swing and jazz compilations, making the Orchestra globally renowned as one of the world's leading creative forces. Their cover of Gianna Nannini's Fotoromanza has garnered over 800,000 views, while the accompanying music video won the 2006 Italian Video Clip Award for Best Independent Video and Best Overall Video.
In November 2022, a jazz cover of the single Like a Virgin by world-renowned English electroswing artist Little Violet was released, garnering significant success on Spotify and YouTube in just a few weeks.
Alfredo Rey and His Orchestra's new project is Movietunes, a swing/lounge jazz reimagining of famous soundtrack songs from the 1920s to the 1970s. Each track on the album features a music video shot using both traditional film techniques and artificial intelligence.
Movietunes includes classic instrumental and vocal pieces such as "Jalousie," the themes from "Barbarella," Ennio Morricone's "Metti una sera a cena," Charlie Chaplin's "Smile," and "007 - From Russia with Love," the theme from the James Bond film of the same name, to name just a few. "I'm Thru with Love," the 1930s classic made famous by Marilyn Monroe in Some Like It Hot, is performed by Justine Mattera, who also stars in the music video, which tells a surprising noir story.
In addition to Justine Mattera, Movietunes features many guests, including: the quintessential Italian crooner Matteo Brancaleoni; jazz pianist Antonio Farao, known for being one of the most sought-after Italian musicians abroad; Christian Mayer and Antonello Jantoman Aguzzi, both from Elio e le Storie Tese; Daniele di Bonaventura, bandoneon soloist and frequent collaborator of Paolo Fresu; American swing singers Alexandra Miletta and Bryan Simmons; and the Orchestra's regular musicians, among the best on the Italian jazz scene.
The key phrase that will accompany the promotion of the Movietunes project is "Retro is the new future," a manifesto that defines the album's mood.
